GLOBAL PLAYER IN LIGHTING INDUSTRY, ZUMBTOBEL, AND ATOS ORIGIN RENEW IT CONTRACT

Long term partnership to reduce costs and improve delivery

Atos Origin, an international IT services company, today announced that its outsourcing contract with Zumtobel, one of the global players within the international lighting industry, has been renewed for a further five years through to 2014.

Commenting on the deal, Winifred Holz, CEO at Atos Origin for Germany, Central Europe and Africa, said: “Building on our strong relationship with Zumtobel we will continue to work in partnership to deliver further cost reductions while increasing quality.”

After the signing the first outsourcing contract in 2004 about 30 employees were transferred from Zumtobel Group to Atos Origin. As part of the agreement Atos Origin took over the Zumtobel data center in Dornbirn. Today, Atos Origin provides services for a number of Austrian and international customers from the data center. The original contract was until 2011. Tthe renewed contract now runs through to 2014.
