ATOS ORIGIN PRESENTS ITS SMART METERS AND SMART GRID SOLUTIONS FOR THE ENERGY SECTORAT METERING & BILLING /CRM EUROPE

The conference is to be held in Barcelona between 6 and 8 October

Atos Origin, the leading international information technology services company, is to be one of the main participants at the Metering & Billing/CRM Europe conference which is to be held at Barcelona’s Fira exhibition site between 6th and 8th of October. The experts from Atos Origin will showcase their solutions for the design, integration and operation of Smart Meters and Smart Grid Management Systems.

The company will present its solutions linked to the Intelligent Electricity Network at this event, which promotes self-regulation of energy consumption, at its own exhibition stand, number 658. This technology features advantages such as sustainability, reduction of CO2 emissions, energy savings, reduction in the bill amount, promotion of distributed generation, reduction of electricity consumption during peak hours and improvements to the management of the electricity grid (fraud management, demand response, smart load shedding and smart cold load pick-up …).

In Spain, Atos Origin, in cooperation with the greatest Utilities and ICT leaders in Europe, is developing the project OpenGrid (Open Architecture for Secondary Nodes of the Electricity SmartGRID), financed by the European Union.
