WEST SUSSEX COUNCIL SELECTS ATOS HEALTHCARE FOR OCCUPATIONAL HEALTH

Atos Healthcare, the number one occupational health provider in the UK and a business division of Atos Origin, today announced that it has won a contract with West Sussex County Council. This three year partnership will provide services to the Council’s 22,000 employees and support a further 5,000 employees from partner organisations from local colleges, Districts and Boroughs.

Under the new contract, Atos Healthcare will provide a range of on and off-site services that will include pre-employment, management referrals, vaccinations, health promotion and the appropriate support for Fire and Rescue teams.

“West Sussex County Council is committed to promoting the health and wellbeing of our employees and providing a supporting framework to reduce lost time due to sickness absence,” said the HR Operations Manager at West Sussex Council.  “We will also look to Atos Healthcare to support us in identifying proactive approaches to managing absence.”
